Watercolor Artist's Page for Keiko Tanabe

CURRENT & FUTURE EXHIBITIONS

ABOUT THE  ARTIST

As a child growing up in Japan, Keiko always enjoyed drawing and painting and won many awards in children’s art contests. Although she started painting professionally only in recent years, she has been accepted into numerous regional and national juried exhibitions such as the Watercolor West, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies. Her work has received awards and recognition nationwide and has collectors in the U.S., Japan and Germany.

Journey Home II

Mostly self-taught, Keiko has proven that she has a strong sense of design, color and perspective. Her paintings are executed with such a unique blend of soft and powerful brushstrokes that they have an eye-pleasing appeal. Currently, Keiko's original paintings and some giclee prints of Japanese and European landscapes are offered through Aikomei while her body of work includes many Californian scenes as well. Check back often as she will have more work posted soon.
