Privacy and Security: We are committed to protecting
your privacy; the information we collect is used to process orders, we
do not share or sell the information to any third party. For credit
card transactions we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to
encrypt credit card information before it is sent to us. We do not
have access to the credit card information, it is sent directly to a
credit card processing institution. Some older versions of browsers or
use of software that prohibits secure transactions may not allow you
use SSL. If you are not able to obtain secure mode, you may use an
e-mail for ordering.
Payment methods: A payment can be made by a major
credit card, PayPal or a check for which a waiting period for a
clearance is required.
Return policy: We are quite confident that you will be very
pleased with your purchase from us. In the event that you are not
completely satisfied, you may return the product to us in the original
box and packing materials within 14 days of receipt for a refund of
the purchase less a 10 % restock fee, shipping and handling fees. The
merchandise must be in re-sellable condition when we receive it. The
buyer will be responsible for shipping cost to return the item.
Customized, personalized and special order items are not returnable,
unless we are in error. Please e-mail us for the detail if you wish to
make a return.
- Shipping Fee: Sometimes a shipping fee calculated at our site is much different from the actual fee due to different sets of required parameters we send to the carrier; only the shipping address, weight and price are passed to the carrier’s where much more information are fed when we actually create a shipment at the carrier’s website. The additional information includes the type of destination location (residential or business), the shipping box dimensions, signature requirement, additional feature, and the pick up fee from our location.
Although we try to make the shipping fees presented at our site close to the actual; the difference
is very small to customers on West Coast, but our fee sometimes gets much higher for
the rest of the country. Our solution is to refund to our customers whenever our fee
exceeds the actual shipping fee. Therefore the shipping
fee paid at the time of a purchase is treated as a retainer. When the shipping fee is finalized by the carrier, we send the customer a receipt and make a refund if there are any.
- Signature Requirement:
We require an indirect signature of the shipment receiver in order to
avoid lost shipment.
- Which Carrier?:
Even though our web site offers only UPS as the carrier, we use both UPS and FedEx depending on the needs of our customers. The optimal goal is to avoid missing deliveries.
We contact the customer at the time of receiving an order with the shipping related questions that help us determine the shipping date, the best carrier and the type of their service match with their needs.
- FedEx Options (applies only to residential delivery, up to 70 lbs.):
Home Evening Delivery ($7) - Deliver 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday thru Saturday
Certain Date Home Delivery ($7) - Can specify the delivery date, but not on the delivery time, Tuesday thru Saturday, excluding holidays, must be no later than two weeks after the standard transit time.
Appointment Home Delivery ($15) - Can specify the date and time. They will contact you by phone to schedule the delivery.
It used to be less expensive by using FedEx, we are finding out the gap is getting smaller; especially with using one of FedEx options in their Home Delivery. The optional fees are paid at the time of the shipment creation.
