Takebako Bench
Takebako Bench
HOT OFF THE DRAWING BOARD! This is Woodistry's latest shoe bench design, the Takebako Bench. "Takebako", pronounced "tah-kay-bah-ko", is Japanese for bamboo box. It's their first all eco-friendly bamboo shoe storage bench. At over $200 a sheet for the bamboo it's a bit pricey, but this plywood is more like a solid wood. It's durable, strong and beautiful.

Woodistry worked very hard on this design to make an all Bamboo shoe storage bench that looks good and is Ready-To-Assemble (RTA). This keeps the shipping costs down while still producing a high quality piece of furniture that should last you a lifetime. They also use top-notch Hafele nickel-plated RTA fittings with brass inserts to make all connections extra strong.

The version shown is made with amber bamboo and features black painted sides to give the piece a lot of visual interest. We will also be offering this shoe storage bench in solid color versions in both the natural and amber bamboo.

Solid Construction and Easy Assembly

K. W. - 29th October 2008

I absolutely love my new shoe storage bench. The bamboo is beautiful and is almost the exact color of my floors. I am also very impressed with the construction and at how simple it was to assemble. Thank you very much. Sincerely,

Green shoe storage

I am looking forward to receiving my shoe storage bench. I just moved in to a new "Green" Building in NYC and my floors are bamboo. And I was pleased to find your bench. Just what I need. Thanks.
